Olive Oil (Olea europaea:

Olive oil is very beneficial to those with problem skin. Olive oil is not very lathering which is why coconut oil is often added to the soap mixture. The olive oil is very conditioning for the skin.

Coconut Oil (Cocos nucifera) :

Coconut oil is one of three cleansing oils. This oil is deodorized meaning it does not have a scent. This oil helps the hardness of the bar as well as the lather making is bubbly.

Palm Oil (Elaesis guineesis) :

Although palm oil does not have any cleansing properties, it provides hardness to the bar of soap especially when mixed with both olive and coconut oil. This oil can also be used as a pH stabilizer within the soap.

Shea Butter (Butyrospermum parkii) :

Shea butter has many vitamins in it including A, E, and F. Shea butter has conditioning properties which is beneficial when moisturizing our skin. This butter is also beneficial for those who suffer from eczema and psoriasis.

The peel,  which is still attached in this bar, is packed with vitamin C. The oil within the peel is antibacterial.

Similar to the lemon, grapefruit also has a peel that is jam-packed with vitamin C . The oil within the peel is antibacterial.

Rosemary leaves are very fragrant and act as an astringent on the skin.
