18.5 oz Olive Oil 12 oz Coconut Oil​
9 oz Palm Oil 1 oz Sea Butter
5.8 oz Lye 13.5 Distilled Water​

stick blender digital scale
stainless steel pot measuring bowls
spoons/spatula thermometer
soap mold freezer paper
knife glasses, gloves, & protective clothing
1. line soap mold with freezer paper (shiny side facing soap)
2. place stainless steel pot on digital scale and measure solid oils into pot
3.warm pot over low heat for oils to melt
4.measure lye carefully into bowl
5.measure distilled water
6.pour water into heat resistant bowl
7.pour lye into heat resistant bowl
8.pour LYE INTO WATER carefully
*use hot pads to pick up bowl due to hot temperatures
9.measure olive oil - add to melted oils at 110° F
10.cool down lye solution to 110° F
11.pour lye slowly into oils
12.blend with blending stick until smooth with occasional stirring until it has the consistency of pancake batter
*at this point a trace will begin which is when fragrance, color, and other additives are combined.
13.pour hot soap into mold quickly - do not allow it to thicken
14.keep warm with towels and allow to sit for 24-32 hours
15.cut into bars and ventilate (cure) for six weeks
